To make a whole batch of Black Eyed Susans, combine 1 1/4 cups of vodka with 4 cups of orange juice, 1 1/4 cup light rum, an ice ring (so the ice doesn't all melt before serving), 3/4 cup of triple sec, 1 tbsp of lime juice, and 4 cups of pineapple juice. Mix well, and chill.
It is the official drink of the Preakness a delicious treat for a warm spring day. The recipe is fairly simple, just make sure you've got plenty of vodka, rum, and triple sec, and a lot of fruit juice and you're well on your way to a refreshing cocktail.
Once it's cold, dish the delish drinks up in tall glasses and add ice, and -- voila! -- your're ready to watch the races and cheer on your favorite horsie. Make sure to have plenty more ingredients on hand for refills, and you're set for a fun evening
