In Hinduism (specifically, early Vedic accounts), Shachi (also known as Indrani (queen of Indra), Aindri, Mahendri and Poulomi) is the goddess of wrath and jealousy, and a daughter of Puloman, an Asura who was killed by Indrani's future husband, Indra. She is one of the seven Matrikas (mother goddesses). She is described as beautiful and having one-thousand eyes. She is associated with lions and elephants. With Indra, she is the mother of Jayanta, Midhusa, Nilambara, Rbhus, Rsabha and Sitragupta. The meaning of 'Shachi' is 'The Powerful and Helpful' also, and in Hindu epics, she is also described as 'The Endless Beauty'.

But Today's Story is as follow,

Lohan, 23, who previously dated deejay Samantha Ronson, has been secretly seeing Indrani, 36 -- half of the respected lens duo of Markus Klinko and Indrani -- since the women worked together on a photo shoot last fall.

Sources say Lohan and Indrani, also known as Julia I. Pal-Chaudhuri, have been on a series of dates in LA and recently spent the night at Lohan's hotel.

Indrani told The Post, "We have been spending a lot of time together. I have never had a relationship with a woman before, but Lindsay is just somebody who I find fascinating, gorgeous and extremely smart, as well as super-hot.

"Lindsay gets a lot of bad press, but she's a really strong, creative woman and is trying really hard to get her life in a good, positive place."

Klinko said the pair are good for each other.

"Lindsay and Indrani have been seeing each other since we shot her last fall," he said. "I've seen them on dates, I have seen them making out . . . Indrani is a good influence on Lindsay. She is the opposite of a party girl -- a Princeton graduate, she's into art and is a philanthropist -- not what you'd expect the typical girl for Lindsay to go out with.

BIO of INDRANI

She was born in Calcutta and raised in India and Canada. At 14, she began a successful career as a fashion model, traveling the world to work with great photographers and artists, while studying philosophy, meditation, photography and film, and pursuing her own photography. In 1997 Indrani founded a charitable school with her father in their ancestral home in Bengal, India. Then she earned a BA in Anthropology at Princeton University, while mastering post-production in Paris and New York, and developing with Markus their unique photographic style.
