"It was a great day. People had a tremendous time in the infield,” said Maryland Jockey Club President Tom Chuckas. “We adjusted the program from a year ago and will continue to look for ways to build on the momentum we experienced today.”
Before the race started, Yawanna Twist were one of the favorite horses to win Preakness Stakes. This horse is trained by Rick Dutrow Jr., the son of the late trainer Dick Dutrow. Dutrow is said to be a very experienced trainer and in fact this expertise made him won the Preakness Stakes 2008. He is a well respected horse trainer in New York City.
However in the actual Preakness Results, Yawanna Twist lost far behind the winner of the race, Super Saver. Super Saver was placed in a very good position to take the win from First Dude. Jocket Calvin Borel who rides Firsy Dude commented, “He had a perfect trip. I wouldn’t have changed it for nothing in the world.”
Just before race time the betting was between Syper Saver and Looking at Lucky with the former being favored at 9 to 5 with US$3,472,187.

Winner of the Preakness Horse Derby 2010 is Lookin at Lucky with Martin Garcia as the winning jockey. In second place is First Dude followed by Jackson Bend hung in third.
Lookin at Lucky paid $6.80 to Win, $4.60 to Place,and 3.80 to Show.
First Dude paid $16.60 to Place and $9.20 to Show.
Jackson Bend paid $6.60 to Show.
The exacta (7-11) paid $188 and the trifecta (7-11-6) paid $2771.
