Jennifer Gwynn Tarkenton, 34, was a special education teacher at Greenwood Lakes Middle School in Lake Mary, Florida, prior to her arrest after she was caught allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old boy. According to reports, the victim told police that Tarkenton picked him up at his home at 10 p.m. and then drove to a pharmacy where she purchased condoms. Tarkenton then drove to an isolated spot, parked and sexually abused the boy three times.



Tarkenton has been charged with three counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child 12 or older by a person over the age of 18 and suspended without pay from her job.
