Beth Ann Chester, 27, was sentenced to 18 to 36 months in prison after pleading guilty to statutory sexual assault, criminal use of a communication facility and corruption of minors.

Chester was a senior high school physical education teacher and volleyball coach who was arrested after the parents of a 14-year-old boy found lewd text messages and nude pictures of her on the boys cell phone. The boy told his parents he was in love with Ms. Chester and that the two were engaged in a sexual relationship.

Chester was sentenced up to three years in jail and an additional five years of probation.
