Erika Simmons, 28, was a paraprofessional teacher at Myers Middle School in Garden City, Georgia when she was arrested and charged with child molestation, statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

According to police, investigations began when rumors circulated about Simons and a 15-year-old male student having an improper relationship. News reports indicate that police have a taped confession by Erika Simmons.

Currently the case has been turned over to the Grand Jury.
