Jada Hendrix, 23, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was an English high school teacher prior to her arrest by the DeSota police on one charge of computer-aided solicitation.

Reportedly, Hendrix resigned from her job on the same day she turned herself into the police and was booked for allegedly "sexting" (sexually-oriented text messages) a 16-year-old male student beginning in February, 2009.

The Shreveport police also have an arrest warrant for Hendrix for allegedly having a sexual relationship with the same male student.
