Alejandra “Ali” Campoverdi, who posed in photos for Maxim and who once appeared on a reality TV dating show, is now an assistant to a senior staffer at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
So how’d she make the move from Maxim to the corridors of power?

Campoverdi has a graduate degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

A former actress, Campoverdi also appeared in the Keanu Reeves movie Constantine and Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Aviator.

She was a contestant on The Bachelor-style TV show For Love Or Money, which ran on NBC in 2004.

She didn’t land the guy on that show, but she’s had better luck in her real-life romance.

Her boyfriend is reported to be Obama’s chief speechwriter Jon Favreau, who recently landed in hot water when a photo of him groping a Hillary Clinton cutout was posted online.

Campoverdi also unsuccessfully tried out for Donald Trump’s reality show The Apprentice.

aliWhat happens when you’re a fame whore with a Harvard degree? If you are Alejandra Campoverdi you land in the White House working on President Obama’s staff. But not before making a few stops along the way.

Campoverdi surfaced in connection with Jon Favreau, the President’s speech writer, who recently landed in hot water for goofing on a cardboard cutout of Obama’s Democratic presidential opponent Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The photo looked like it was taken at a frathouse party. As it turns out Campoverdi was for a time dating Favreau. Did he get the comely brainiac her White House job?


Not she’s unqualified, of course; she has a Master’s degree in public policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

She’s working as an assistant to an unnamed senior White House staffer. She’s not exactly in a major policy position, but as career ticket-punching goes, it will open doors in the future no question.

But Campoverdi is raising some eyebrows for her extra-curricular activities, including a photo shoot in racy lad magazine Maxim.

Campoverdi, who described herself as a “model/actress” was featured in the a 2004 issue of the magazine. Photographer Steve Shaw shot her posing in sexy lingerie.

Her acting stints include a bit part in the Keanu Reeves Shia Labeouf 2005 movie, “Constantine,” and a small role in Leonardo DiCaprio’s 2004 movie, “The Aviator.” She’s uncredited in both.

That was about three years after she graduated from USC (a party school if there ever was one) with a degree in Communications. She got her Harvard degree last year, according to several sources.

Before that she chased fame by appearing on the NBC’s bachelor hook-up reality show “For Love or Money” in 2004. She didn’t get the guy. Damn.

Campoverdi also tried out for Donald Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice,” but for whatever reason she didn’t make the cut. Damn again.

Ironic. She wasn’t good enough for The Donald, but getting a job with President Obama is a piece of cake.
