Detlef Schrempf (born January 21, 1963, in Leverkusen, Federal Republic of Germany) is a retired German NBA basketball player.

After retirement he made a foundation The Detlef Schrempf Foundation, which is committed to supporting organizations that provide hope, care and assistance to Northwest children and their families. They seek "small" charity organizations to partner with - in order to make a larger impact on their programs. The Detlef Schrempf Foundation also fosters relationships with corporate partners that share their vision of serving community as a walk of life.
