This might not come as a surprise to the fans of FlashForward that ABC has concluded to cancel their favorite series. The show has been seeing dwindling ratings for a while now and the storyline just gets crazier by the minute therefore making it very difficult to capture new eyeballs.

The show had been struggling both critically and commercially, but hopes were raised of a second season when it turned out that international sales for the programme were doing well.

However, Entertainment Weekly has now revealed that the axe has swung on the show. A pity: the premise to the show was interesting, but it never really got to go anywhere in the end.

Now that FlashForward has gotten the boot you can maybe turn your attention to V, which has been renewed for another season (we all know Ana and her birthing methods along with her soldiers totally saved that show).

So ABC has finally confirmed that it’s to cancel FlashForward at the end of its current run.
