Gabrielle Monique Union (born October 29, 1972) is an American actress and former model. Among her notable roles is as the cheerleader opposite Kirsten Dunst in the film Bring it On. Union starred opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the blockbuster film Bad Boys II and played a medical doctor in the CBS drama series City of Angels. She starred with LL Cool J and Meagan Good in Deliver Us from Eva in 2003.
Siohvaughn Funches is seeking $50,000 in damages from Union, alleging she caused her two kids Zaire, 8, and Zion, 2, emotional distress while the boys were on an unsupervised visit to Wade’s Miami home, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The suit also alleges that Wade’s oldest son was allowed to play unsupervised in and around the pool at night and that Zaire’s “screams and cries” caught the attention of Wade’s mother, Jolinda Wade . Funches claims that the couple’s younger son nearly drowned while in Wade’s care.

The suit says the kids suffered emotional distress when Wade introduced them to his new galpal with the statement that Union was the reason that he and their mother were getting a divorce. She goes onto claim that Union’s “extreme and outrageous conduct” with Wade has caused her oldest son to seek medical treatment for stress and anxiety.

Wade, 28, denies all the allegations and has filed for sole custody of the couple’s two sons.

“I am deeply saddened and disappointed that Siohvaughn has used our sons once again as pawns and is now lashing out at Gabrielle, who is an innocent party,” Wade told TMZ . “It is clear that this is a desperate attempt to retaliate against me for seeking sole custody of our children and requesting that the court have her undergo a psychiatric examination.”
