Paul Daley (born February 21, 1983) is an English professional mixed martial artist who has fought for EliteXC, Cage Rage, Strikeforce, Maximum Fighting Championship, Cage Warriors, Pancrase and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is ranked as the #8 Welterweight in the world by Sherdog.com. He is also ranked by MMAWeekly as the #5 Welterweight in the world.
"I don't care if Daley wins a bunch of fights in all kinds of promotions and becomes the best in the world," he said.

"He'll never come back. I'm probably the most lenient guy in sports and this is proboably one of the most lenient organziations. You know we're all human, we all make mistakes, things happen.

"You don't ever hit a guy blatantly after the bell like that whether you're frustrated or not.

The Team Rough House fighter had been battling Koscheck for the right to face welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre for the UFC title - and as a rival coach to GSP on the next season of reality series The Ultimate Fighter.

But despite an impressive showing against Koscheck - regarded as the number four welterweight in the world, Daley's temper got the better of him once the final klaxon had sounded.

He stalked Koscheck across the cage and, once the fighter turned to face him, sucker punched him with a left hook before being pulled off the American by the referee.

"When I went in there and talked to him after the fight he said 'I didn't hear the bell'," said a disbelieving White.

"That's what he said to me. That won't be tolerated."
