It'll be a very busy weekend for Chicago fans as the Crosstown Classic opens Friday at Wrigley Field. The White Sox and Cubs will start their three-game series Friday with a 1:20 p.m. local start time, so you can imagine many fans will rejoice in the parade before taking in some baseball.
The night of the victory, thousands of fans took to the streets to party and celebrate the win.

Die hard fan Charles Horn compared the win to an old girlfriend who came back after years to show her love for him. The parade has been announced in spite of security concerns by the Municipal Office of Emergency Management and Communication of Chicago.

City officials said they expect up to 350,000 fans to come out for the parade, which was also the estimate when the Chicago White Sox won the World Series in 2005.
