Drew Walter Peterson is a former Bolingbrook, Illinois, police sergeant who is suspected of k!II!ng his third and fourth wives. The story has received national media attention in the United States. Peterson has repeatedly denied involvement in both cases. On May 7, 2009, Peterson was indicted by the Will County Grand Jury and charged with the m@rd3r of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Locked up by himself for exactly a year today, the 56-year-old former Bolingbrook cop is looking forward to his m@rd3er trial, scheduled to start June 14, according to Pat Barry, a spokesman for the Will County Sheriff's Department, which houses Peterson. "I think he figures he's going to get out," Barry said.Since he was arrested for allegedly m@rd3r!ng his third wife, Kathleen Savio, Peterson has been held in the medical wing of the county jail for his safety.

Jury selection for Peterson's trial on the m@rd3r of Kathleen Savio is expect to begin July 8. Friday, law enforcement authorities may have a break in solving the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, in 2007.
