In winning Entertainer of the Year again this year, Carrie Underwood becomes the first female singer to win it twice and only one of 7 female singers to ever take home the trophy in the 40 years there has been an EOY category at the ACM Awards. The other 6 women are: Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, Reba McIntire, Shania Twain, and the Dixie Chicks.

The must unusual thing about this year’s award show is that Taylor Swift walked away empty handed despite receiving five nominations. Last year, Swift did a clean sweep of pretty much every award show she went to. Many wonder if she is losing her spark but then again you can’t win everything.
