Jessica Dawn Lynch who was born in April 26, 1983 and she is an earlier Private First Class (PFC) in the US Army Quartermaster Corps. Lynch gave out in Iraq throughout the 2003 attack by US and allied forces.

On March 23, 2003 she was injured and detained by Iraqi forces but was recovered on April 1 by U.S. Special Operations Forces, with the incident next receiving significant news coverage. Close to Nasiriyah, a major crossing point over the Euphrates River northwest of Basra. She was firstly listed as missing in action (MIA). Eleven other soldiers in the company were killed in waylay.

She was raped and sodomized by her Iraqi captors. "While I was subjected to an unpleasant episode of sexual abuse during my captivity," she said, "it did not represent a threat to life, limb or chance of being released, and therefore occupied a much lower level of concern than it might have under other circumstances."

Medical records indicate that Jessica Lynch was anally raped while a captive in Iraq, an event she says she has no memory of.
