According to an ex-lover, the soul singer is a “sex addict with a fetish for spanking”.

Johnny Headlock, who met Winehouse through their mutual music contacts told London’s “The Sun”:

“She was wild. She went for hours and couldn’t get enough. We must have gone through about five or six positions, but she liked being on top the best. She made a lot of noise and loved being spanked on the a**. It was really rock ‘n’ roll.”


Johnny claims he offered Amy - now married to 25-year-old Blake Fielder-Civil - cocaine before they had sex, but she didn't take the drug.

The minder continued to see the 'Rehab' singer for a short while after their night of passion, but it fizzled out after he discovered Amy was in a relationship with Alex.

However, the troubled star - who is believed to be in rehab at the moment - allegedly kept an unusual memento from her first night with Johnny.

He revealed: "That first night I was wearing Spider-Man underpants and she thought they were wicked. In fact, Amy took them and kept them as a souvenir."

Johnny believes Amy - who last week cancelled her entire European tour due to "exhaustion" - is being heavily-influenced in her drinking and drug-taking by husband Blake.

He said: "You can see Amy's besotted with him, she needs someone to treat her mean.

"It's sad what's happened to her, but drugs are everywhere she goes. I can see why she's got problems."

Winehouse's dichotomous public image of critical and commercial success versus personal turmoil proved to be controversial. The New Statesman magazine called Winehouse "a filthy-mouthed, down-to-earth diva," while Newsweek magazine called her "a perfect storm of sex kitten, raw talent and poor impulse control."
