Singer Kellie Pickler, 22, keeps getting good mileage from her breast implants, which she teasingly refused to acknowledge early last year.
Her appearance at Wednesday night’s Country Music Awards show demonstrated their value as a publicity vehicle.
“Kellie Pickler’s Breasts Star at CMAs,” said the online Post Chronicle. “Country singer Kellie Pickler was the love of CMA cameras, but not because of her talent or pretty face. [Although previously she claimed] to have never had any breast enhancement procedures done, she was happy to show them off at the CMA Awards Ceremony.”
“Kellie Pickler rocks the CMA’s,” said the Charlotte Observer,
describing her appearance, not her singing.
“Showing off her fantastic figure, Kellie Pickler was nothing short of gorgeous as she arrived at the 2008 CMA Awards,” said an English portion of the French site Revue de Presse Infos Jeunes.
In a May 2007 interview with OK! Magazine, Kellie made clear that she’s a fan of plastic surgery, but at the time was benefiting from uncertainty about breast implants:

Q. So, the rumors that you’ve had plastic surgery. Any truth there?

A. I had several people ask me. I’m a girl that likes to be the center of attention, and right now I am, so I feel like maybe I should let the mystery live on.
If I say yes or no, nobody’s going to care anymore. I’m going to keep playing this game with everybody.

Q. Would you have plastic surgery?

A. I’m all for it. When I’m older I’m getting everything sucked, tucked and cut off.
But the National Enquirer later got her to ‘fess up. As the online National Ledger reported:
Did she or didn’t she? On “American Idol” last season Ryan Seacrest joked with Kellie Pickler about her new assets (as in a lot of cleavage) and quizzed the country cutie on if she had had any work done (as in breast augmentation). Kellie was less than forthcoming with her answered that she had spent some money on shoes.

And ever since Kellie appeared with Ryan she’s dodged questions about why her petite breasts suddenly became so voluptuous. But now according to the National Enquirer she’s finally gotten the secret off her chest. Surprise, surprise – she’s had breast implants!

At first, her implants appeared oversized. As “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell said, “It’s like she’d gone to Dolly Parton school or something. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”
Plastic surgeon/blogger Dr. Tony Youn noted that her bust appeared smaller when she attended the 2007 American Music Awards last fall. He speculated that the reasons were:

She has lost some weight, causing her breasts to become smaller; and …
Her implants have settled in and swelling has diminished, resulting in smaller breasts.
