Without Love there is no healing. With Love, healing is inevitable.
For example, one morning while attending a recent conference, I meditated on my identity as “the radiant light of living Love." I walked to breakfast contemplating this, ate breakfast with others while I thought of myself and others as “the radiant light of living Love," and attended the conference with this meditation in mind. I wanted to stay centered in love and see all others as embraced by this love.
It wasn't hard. I simply spent small moments adoring and cherishing our identities as sourced from living Love.
This meditation meant a great deal to me. Not only did it bring deep, rich love to my own day, but the Love packed into this meditation also brought enormous healing to others at the conference.
By the morning break, a woman came up to me and asked what I did as a spiritual healer. While I answered, I sensed her inner plea for help. She explained that she had been suffering from intense headache pains for three months from a severe infection. She was taking medication, but it was failing to relieve her for more than short spans of time.
As she spoke, I thought of us together in Love’s light of healing. I thought of us surrounded in the enormous power of this Love. She interrupted herself in the midst of describing her problem to ask, “What are you doing? My headache is going away!”
I shared Love's message with her. Her eyes welled with tears. As I held her in Love’s embrace, I again thought of our true identity as Love's own expression.
We hugged as she said, “My headache is completely gone.”
What a moment we had shared! We were in the presence of living Love! We were identifying ourselves as this very presence. The result was healing.
There were others that day who were also healed by this same powerful meditation. And over the several day period, I noticed that everyone stayed healed. This immaculate healing effect is typical of divine Love’s presence. She leaves Her beautiful, healing mark.
This Love we represent begs to be more fully shared and realized. When we love well - deeply and thoroughly – our love’s natural desire is to go to the place that most hurts and bring comfort and healing.
It is time for us to remember our roots in Love. We come from divine Love. We are the ambassadors of Love’s radiant light. As we recall who we are in Love, our spiritual identity becomes the medicine of Soul and food to the hungering heart. Healing is Love’s final destination.
Now is a wonderful moment for you to share in Love’s healing presence and inspiration. I invite you into the heart of this inspiring meditation with me.
