Lindsay Massaro, 23, a student teacher at an elementary school in Sussex County, New Jersey, allegedly admitted to police of having sexual encounters with a male student she met while student teaching.

According to the affidavit, Massaro admitted to having sexual relations with the boy in her car and at her home. It was reported that Massaro described the sexual relationship as consensual.

She was charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.


After posting a $75,000 bail, Massaro was released from jail on the conditions that she would have no contact with the boy, stay away from school, and have no unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 16.
