God-Des and She are a hip-hop/pop/soul duo from the Midwest. Since they appeared on the Showtime hit series The L Word in 2006, they have sold more than 30,000 albums and toured the world. You can see her video in heavy rotation on Logo's "Click List." She was also featured in a documentary on gay and lesbian hip hop artists Hip-Hop Homos.

when she was bar-tending at a bar in Manhattan and a girl came up to her and said, "Hey, you're God-Des right?" She said yes and that girl said that she loved SHE and God-des so much and that God-des made her cry during their performance at
Michigan. They continued talking and she asked if God-des would ever want to be on The L Word. God-des obviously said yes and she said she knew Elizabeth Ziff (EZ Girl) of Betty and that she would send her an email about them. God-des sent EZ Their music and the next day she called them.
